This is the week when a revolution begins to sweep through schools in England. It involves a whole new way of teaching children about computing - but I suspect many parents, and even some teachers, know very little about this important moment in education. As children from five upwards return to school, they are going to have to start learning how to program - or to "code" to use the trendy term which seems to upset some old-school programmers. Oberhaus fordert klare Neuausrichtung des derzeitigen Bildungssystems London (pte022/18.02.2015/13:15) - Das Oberhaus des britischen Parlaments, das "House of Lords"http://parliament.uk , hat eine völlige Neuausrichtung des Bildungssystems gefordert. Ziel sei es, eine positive Entwicklung des Landes in einem konkurrierenden Umfeld. Die Politik sollte die digitale Bildung fest in den Lehrplan der Schulen integrieren. Die Fähigkeiten im Umgang mit neuen Technologien sollten so früh wie möglich vermittelt und vom Stellenwert her gleichbedeutend mit Kernfächern wie Mathematik oder Englisch angesehen werden.
