Technology has become an integral part of not only my daily life but that of most individuals. With businesses now utilizing social platforms and reaping the rewards, a whole new age of client engagement has been created. This article highlights one way in which technology can be used as a tool to positively impact health. Communication is one key determinant of the success of an OH&S system. We need to hear the concerns of employees and also voice our solutions to management, as well as apply these (Standards Australia/Standards New Zealand committee AU/NZS IOS 31000:2009). Who knows, in 5 years we may be doing so through an app!
