Digital Natives (usually 30 and under) are those of us who have grown up immersed in technology, Digital Immigrants have adopted technology at a later date, but were not developmentally immersed in it.

We should not assume a person will have a better or a worse digital performance depending on the age they are, this is why this post explains and it is accompanied by other links that clarify the main concepts and how we can play with them in the classroom.
