This is a list of 12 tools (games, apps, and websites) that help with having technology in the classroom. Some great examples are minecraft, snapchat, and even a website called FreshGrade which is free for students and their parents. FreshGrade allows the student and parent to track their child's progress. There are many more sites to use.

The time period we are currently living in can be known as the digital age. With technology we can do almost anything, instantly. Whether it’s an email, text message or e-course, technology let’s us do whatever, whenever we want. Technology has also had a huge impact on education and has started to completely transform the way we learn. Teachers now often incorporate different forms of technology into their lessons. This allows for different ways to deliver a learning message. One of the main forms of technology used in classrooms today is social media. It serves a platform for discussion and communication, transferring of ideas and inspiration. Applications such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube have changed the way we communicate our ideas. These social media platforms have allowed learners of all ages to easily participate in online discussions. Mobile devices are another main form of technology being used. Smart devices have become extremely effective in the sense of teaching and learning. It’s a better way to engage the students. I look forward to what new technologies will come about in the future to aid teachers and students with education. |
