Thay Hexiao's comment, February 26, 2017 6:49 AM
I personally do not think that technology has helped me much in learning. I think that learning takes even more time for me as I am not a technology savvy person. Using technology in learning sometimes will make me waste a large amount of my time just trying to figure out how to perform certain actions using Ipad, computers, which is not very effective. I feel that it is still better to learning together with classmates and having interactive elements in class, as everall the learning environment and the atmosphere is different form using technology to learn and promotes learning.

Is There Still a Place for Discussion Forums in Online Learning?

Is There Still a Place for Discussion Forums in Online Learning? | Educational Technology News | Scoop.it

Sure it’s something different, but what’s the point? Don’t we have a faster more efficient way to communicate ideas and build virtual communities?"

Online Vs. Traditional: Which is the Better Platform? | Educational Technology News | Scoop.it

"Picture this. Two friends go out to eat for lunch; friend number one discusses the hard work of being a college student and juggling class schedules with work. Friend two discusses the same struggles, but whether or not they are going to attend their American Literature class on the couch or in bed.

With the rising popularity of online courses, students are starting to think about not only where they want to go, what they want to do career wise, but how they are going to receive that education: online or traditional."
