I don't want to be a sherpa! I would like to be the expedition leader for navigation, safety and online pedagogy design. If I'm a sherpa, it make out that we are the 'slaves' of the SME and we do all the work. If academics don't start engaging in doing some of the work themselves so they become independent. You said it was a team effort, so the academics (I used to be one!) need to learn to pull their own weight or we will never get the job done!
