iPhone5.com whois info changed by Apple. Apple replaces technical and administrative contact details for iPhone5.com domain.

Earlier we shared that Apple has filed an intellectual property right cased against iPhone5.com domain probably for the upcoming iPhone launch which is rumored to happen in September. Apple has previously purchased related domains from their respective owners during the launch of iPhone4 and iPhon4S. This time Apple played it in a different way. Apple's request to seek the control of iPhone5.com domain was fulfilled and very soon Apple got control over iPhone5.com. Apple din't have to pay anything to iPhon5.com owners and the site was very soon pulled down and the content was removed. iPhone5.com was previously owned by individual group of Apple enthusiasts who started a forum discussing about various iPhone5 rumors which included images and expected specifications of the upcoming smartphone from Apple. As soon as Apple got control over the domain, the content from the webpage was pulled and all we could see was blank page.  Today the status of the website is completely down and the webpage iPhone5.com doesn't load. Interesting, isn't it ? We have checked the whois details of iPhone5.com and to our surprise, Apple has updated the Administrative and Technical contact details along with the DNS server list. Below is the screenshot of whois details of iPhone5.com which has been taken over by Apple. It seems that Apple indeed has plans of releasing iPhone5 and is working on it.
