It has been guessed, by a couple of additive manufacturing advocates, that this technological advancement will most likely change the face of commerce, because end users will have the ability to do their own manufacturing rather than participating in trade to purchase products from different people and businesses.
3D printers are capable of printing in color and many substances are already existing and will proceed to evolve to a stage where working products will be able to be printed. With the effect on the use of energy, reducing waste, customization, availability of products, medicine, art, sciences and construction, 3D printing will serve the manufacturing market for the better.
