Such apps have in-built formulas and unit conversions etc. Should such apps become normalised, students would become lazy to use their brains to solve math questions. All they have to do is open the app and key in some numbers. The answer is given almost immediately. This would be bad for students as basic calculation would be difficult for them since they have not practised math and calculation using pure brain and knowledge for long.
