The US is very lucky to be able to have a successful e-learning environment.

Good piece, but need to consider also; this country is not really catering to multi-cultural group.  But, we should learn from their examples - we in Australia definitely moving towards over-educating, with even prep losing its play-based approach.  Also worth noting - the teacher in the classroom has the biggest impact on whether or not the students will learn - effective teachers=effective learners.

It is really unfair for the students, as the students have to do in countries with high homework rate is just to do homework.  And when  the education system increases in its ranking, more homework is given to them, which causes more stress on them. In my opinion, giving more homework, is not a way to improve the education system. For example, countries such as Finland has been recognised as having 1 of the best education system in the world. However, the students only have to spend an average of 3 hours every week on homework. 

This article makes some good suggestions about implementing mobile learning in your class room, such as do more with less, and advocate for clear policies.
