Google for Education is not just limited to the classroom! You can create lessons with Google expeditions to launch your class to another place in the world! In partnership with TES, Google for Education has launched a site with hundreds of FREE lessons that take your students on a virtual trip to discover all corners of the world. This site is so HELPFUL! TES and GFE have created a community of educators that are working together to make the most of the virtual learning world. "With Google Expeditions, you can step into an astronaut's shoes, swim with sharks or discover life in the trenches of the First World War." Go on an adventure!

The use of this virtual reality tool can assist to bring the classroom to 'life'. Students are able to experience a trip around the world without leaving the classroom in a way that cannot be experienced through books. Teachers are able to synchronize three-dimensional 360° panoramas to each student’s cardboard viewer, pointing out areas of interest in real time and instantly pausing the trip when required. This use of digital technology is like no other!
