Arlene Garcia's curator insight, February 28, 2017 8:13 PM
I picked this article because currently I'am learning about kids and ways to help them develop well. I wanted to know what kinds of good advice were they gonna provide us with. Altering reading this I'am not amazed at all, its a little sad actually. In almost every tip they gave had technology or media in it. They want us to actually teach kids how to use to computer and how to go on Youtube or Instagram. They don't realize that the media doesn't help child develop well one on one time with parents and our door activities is what helps a child develop well. The writer wanted us to get convinced that guiding kids to the right path of the media world was right. He or she made it seem like everyone should be using the internet but really thats not the case. The audience in this article would definitely be for parents that are trying to keep their children safe and wanting for them to be smart. The purpose of this would be to have a solution of kids wanting to go on the internet. This article to met to be for parents only and for me honestly doesn't seem like a reliably source.

My son is in grade 12 and will be expected to make some big decisions about what he will be doing with his life post-graduation. My daughter, however, is in grade 9 and is at the very beginning of her high school journey. She is making the transition from a small fish bowl into a larger aquarium.
