Office Lens is good for converting hand written notes and other related non digital information into a cropped digital format.  All you have to do is take a picture and Office Lens saves it as a PDF or JPEG.  This tool is capable of moving around the text and manipulating it in ways that would be more difficult in its non-digitized platform.  It would be very useful in history since much of the information is still solely on paper
