This article resonates with me and exemplifies the importance providing opportunities for students to develop their agency. I specifically appreciate that the 5 suggestions on ways to build agency can cross age barriers. The following quote from the article justifies why students should experience agency building opportunities. "If students feel no control in their learning environments, they will struggle to develop the essential sense of agency, to direct their lives, or foresee impact of their actions on others."

I found this article very interesting because it highlights the importance of implementing various techniques to keep children inspired and ready to learn in the classroom. It includes 6 different points, from giving choices to inspiring debate. Every child or adult learn and respond to information in their own way and this article serves as an example of how teachers and parents must teach their students or children. I think teachers and parents/guardians across America should read this article and use these 6 points to create intelligent, passionate, and unique critical thinkers.
