In a digital age where electronic dance music has taken over the music industry, producing your own music just got more convenient. With the best computer for music production, you can easily make a song in the comforts of your own home.

Audacity is a valuable tool for the music classroom: it is free to download, works well with both Windows and Mac, and doesn't take up too much space on the hard drive on students' laptops. This is one piece of software that I thoroughly recommend to music teachers everywhere!

Audacity is valuable to use in music classroom activities such as:
- Instrumental/Vocal performance recording
- Podcasting
- Alternative submissions for written work/verbal presentations
- Composing tasks

My Evaluating sources guide checks that this source isn’t reliable. There are no links, or any other creditable people to back this opinion up.

This isn’t an major informational source for audio professionals.
