Staying safe online is not as easy as it could be for young people. Google has produced some video tutorials for students that may help.

The most powerful tool that we can use to protect our children's safety online is taking control. They need to know that we are aware of what they're doing, even when we are not with them. It’s important to have a shared family account for YouTube so that what can easily track what videos are being watched and suggested. There are also a range of apps that provide carefully checked lists of videos that are safe for children of different ages. Some of these include; Kid-safe Tube TV, Kids Video Player for YouTube, YouTube Videos for Kids, Playlist for YouTube and the list goes on. Keeping them safe online doesn’t have to be difficult!

Staying in the vein of Cyber Safety this is a powerful article that provides educational cartoon videos specifically for students on cyber threats. There are videos available for very young students all the highway to older students. They simplify the concepts and get the attention of the student through the fun format. A great tool when teaching on Cyber Security!
