Safety on YouTube - Your kids are on YouTube - talk to them about safety

Marina Baruco's curator insight, September 24, 2017 5:36 PM

The most powerful tool that we can use to protect our children's safety online is taking control. They need to know that we are aware of what they're doing, even when we are not with them. It’s important to have a shared family account for YouTube so that what can easily track what videos are being watched and suggested. There are also a range of apps that provide carefully checked lists of videos that are safe for children of different ages. Some of these include; Kid-safe Tube TV, Kids Video Player for YouTube, YouTube Videos for Kids, Playlist for YouTube and the list goes on. Keeping them safe online doesn’t have to be difficult!
