As a science teacher who has had a multitude of ELL students in my classroom I can see how powerful Chat GPT-4 omni would be.  Most resources we get from our districts here in Texas have both English and Spanish versions, where we run into obstacles is when we have students who's primary language isn't one of those two.  The fact that this tool have 50 languages and is FREE is something the education world needs to be excited about!

At one point I felt like using AI would be the end of creating material for my classroom myself and such sources would make my expertise irrelevant. Now after using AI tools like Chat GPT, I am able to increase what I can do. I see it for was it is when I comes to how I use it. It is a means to increase my production and work more effectively.

This is an amazing resource for teachers and administrators.  This site provides free lessons for all ages of students and includes a series of 30 - 60 min lessons for students.  I think before any teachers tries to use AI in their classroom with students they should spend some time with their students exploring what AI is and how to use it properly.  This site give teachers just the tools they need to do that in very easy to use lessons.

Educators are frustrated and trying different strategies, such as going back to traditional methods or integrating AI ethically. The key is to teach students how to use AI as a co-creation tool and understand the research process, promoting responsible use and minimizing cheating. Modeling ethical AI use and incorporating it into the writing process can help uphold academic integrity.

I think this article discusses very important information regarding AI in education. I think it is smart to form alliances across the world to learn from one another on best practices and implementation of AI in K-12 schools. Since Australia is leading in the learning and implementation of AI in education, US schools should collaborate with them to get ideas on how to do the same.

This is a great article that gives teachers several tools with a wide array of applications.  I regularly use Magic School AI and classroomscreen but I haven't used the other ones and am excited to give them a try.  Diffit especially sounds like something I can use to help me save time and energy when it comes to differentiating for the needs of my learners.  I am always on the lookout for tools to help me with the administrative side of teaching which frees me up to spend more time to plan and execute lessons that will reach more of my students.

I have mentioned using Notion as a productivity tool, but of course there are plenty others. We can never be too organized. With so many things to keep up with, it's important to be able to have a place where information is easily managed. I can feel overwhelmed at times with the many things I have to do. I don't want to miss a thing to ensure I am able to manage things effectively for my students.
