Seven Distance Learning Priorities to Consider Before Reopening Schools - via Ki Sung

Seven Distance Learning Priorities to Consider Before Reopening Schools - via Ki Sung | iGeneration - 21st Century Education (Pedagogy & Digital Innovation) | Scoop.it
Schools went online at a rapid pace because of COVID-19 social distancing measures. As school leaders decide how to reopen schools, here's a list of seven priorities to consider first.
Griffin Fortney's curator insight, May 8, 2020 7:15 PM
Distance learning has helped keep kids in school during this pandemic without threatening their health or others. This change usually would take years to happen but it was something that needed to be done immediately. In order for distance learning to continue different schools needs to keep in mind the individuals who can obtain internet and devices. They should also help find techniques to help students when they are struggling. Although this is helpful right now, kids need actual school. Schools help provide education, medical care, counseling, physical activity, and a place for kids to socialize.
