we seem to talk about instructor role so rarely that she becomes not only intangible, but at times invisible. Part of the problem seems to be that we’ve conflated instructor role with “authority,” and we’ve regarded authority as a dirty word

Many seem to think flipping a class is moving lectures online, but I have not found this to be the case. For me, it is about making my class more active.

SarahMcNicol InFlow (Information Flow) is a new model of applied information literacy designed to be integrated within the curriculum. It is based on learning activities which have been successfully adopted by teachers throughout Europe during the iTEC project (http://itec.eun.org), and revised and developed further based on feedback from a group of UK librarians.
