The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated the integration of simulation-based experiences into remote education, especially in traditionally hands-on like medical schools. Technologies like Zoom played a pivotal role in this transformation, enabling educators to maintain interactive learning experiences even in a virtual setting. The adaptability of these platforms, with features like real-time broadcasting and screen sharing, facilitated the seamless transition of essential coursework, by a nursing program in the Southeastern United States successfully teaching nursing fundamentals and health assessment remotely.
