BOE Technology Group Co., Ltd., commonly known as BOE and regarded as China's number one panel giant, has recently been facing a series of bad news. After being rejected by Apple for the use of its Organic Light-Emitting Diode (OLED) panels for the iPhone 15 earlier this year, it was recently reported that Samsung Electronics has removed BOE from its supply chain, no longer using its Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) panels for televisions and monitors. This means that BOE is not only facing setbacks in entering Apple's supply chain with its high-end OLED panels but is now also at risk of shrinking its market for basic low-end LCD panels.
