1. Identify target accounts. This includes assembling data on potential accounts and selecting the right targets. Like many data gatherers, Lead Genius uses a combination of Web and other sources to build company and contact lists. Nearly every vendor who does this applies some form of natural language processing to extract information from unstructured sources. Lead Genius does this too. But it goes further by using artificial intelligence to identify records with questionably accurate information. It then sends these to humans for direct verification by telephone. The company guarantees 99% accuracy in its data, which is significantly better than most competitors can offer. AI's contribution here is to let Lead Genius call only the companies that need human contact, reducing over-all effort substantially.

"LeadGenius, which uses machine learning to provide a marketing and sales tool for businesses, has raised $4 million in a new round of debt and equity funding.

LeadGenius uses a combination of machine learning and real human researchers to power its business-to-business (B2B) service platform. The company will use the money to add multi-channel capabilities to LeadGenius for outbound marketing and sales.

“This new funding will enable LeadGenius to continue to innovate as a leading outbound and account-based marketing (ABM) leader,” said Prayag Narula, cofounder and CEO of LeadGenius, in a statement. “LeadGenius already provides the most reliable, accurate customer data in the market. The next frontier is to leverage data to help customers get broader insights into their market and build a platform to easily orchestrate outbound marketing.”"

Account-based marketing tech platform LeadGenius has announced $10 million in Series B funding that will further its efforts in the ABM solutions space. LeadGenius plans to take its ABM platform solution to the next level with these additional funds, according to CEO and co-founder Prayag Narula.

"With this new funding, we will move forward on our vision to be the leading account-based marketing platform. What Marketo does for inbound marketing, we will do for outbound marketing in support of ABM strategies," Narula said in a statement. "The key to successful B2B outbound marketing is to have really great data, which we are market leaders in, combined with our strategic solutions that enable personalized multichannel outreach."
