Overcoming Zoom fatigue. Teachers are going above and beyond in trying to engage students through video. They may not realize just staring at a screen can wear out a student’s eyes. We also have to be more intense and put more effort into our own communication to get our meaning across. All this taxes our brain.

This article gives valuable information on best practices to avoid fatigue and burnout. Something to keep in mind is the equipment you use. Having monitors that promote eye care and reduce strain will help with self-care. Having a mobile setup so you're only in place for a short period of time. Utilizing an iPad or laptop promotes mobility, thus having the option to work outside.
