AI is a dangerous distraction from the pressing issues defining our generation. The world is on fire and we are worried about whether AI is going to write the first draft of our screenplays. The scale of climate catastrophe enveloping us right now is crazy. It is happening so slowly that we are relatively comfortable ignoring it, but that just makes it harder to spot. It doesn’t mean it is less important.
