Currently, most companies do not have the relevant information to answer a series of important questions:
What products/services should the company sell?
What price is appropriate?
What level of capacity should the company maintain?
These are the basic decisions every organization must make, with or without appropriate relevant information. These are not one time questions, actually managers frequently need to re-evaluate the answers whenever new deals with clients or suppliers are considered and when price changes are suggested. The quality of decisions are crucial to the organization – no matter what the goal, vision, mission and leading strategy the owners and top executives have in mind. A natural question is: Are most of the actual decisions good enough? Also, are the current tools used to make the above decisions truly effective – leading the decision makers to the right decisions?
